So, I have my site downloaded from my host (3Essentials) and have it running on my local IIS7 installation.  I have the DNN Database properly attached and almost all content is showing correctly.  My separate "data" SQL database is even working correctly.  My problem is that the images that I have added to the site are not showing and some fonts and attributes of the "skin" are not showing correctly.  For the most part, the skin is displaying correctly with the exception of a few fonts.  This DNN installation has only one portal, my main portal (0).  On the remote installation all of the website files are located under an "httpdocs" folder.  When I extracted to my local webserver, I placed the files in c:\wwwroot\upowerdnn folder.   So there is no "httpdocs" level.  On the remote site, the images for the portal are located at " httpdocs\Portals\0\Images " .  On my local server they are located at " c:\wwwroot\upowerdnn\Portals\Images ".  Is that a problem?

I tried setting up my local website in a folder called c:\wwwroot\upowerdnn\httpdocs and couldn't get the website to come up at all like that.

Like I said, the local installation is functioning correctly all except for the images a few fonts.  Note, in the PortalAlias table of the dnn database, I removed the record referring to my remote website and entered an alias of "localhost\upowerdnn" to access my local installation.

How do I get the images to show correctly?  I need to be able to develop modules and other things locally and know that things will be matching when I publish.

Thanks.

the paths to images are usually relative.  is your second path correct c:\wwwroot\upowerdnn\Portals\Images?  It should really be

c:\wwwroot\upowerdnn\Portals\0\Images

Check that out.

Yes, I made a mistake, my local path is actually:

C:\inetpub\wwwroot\upowerdnn\Portals\0\Images
