I also ran into the portal creation problems.  I tried running the scripts, but it didn't seem to make a difference, so I found the line to change in the web.config file and tried that.  I changed it to "/", was able to create the portal, then had to change it back to go any further.

Thanks - this resolved my problem.

Has anybody logged this in GNATS yet? (Is GNATS the bug tracking system?)

I have just upgraded a site from 4.0.3 to 4.3.3 and I can not create child portals even after running the .03.0-2.06SqlDataProvider from Host > SQL. IT seems to run ok without any errors.

Any other ideas?

I am using an object qualifier on this install, do I need to change that when running the script?

OK, for some reason now it's working. BUt the new portal email did not include the administrators password. Am I missing a setting someplace?

I had the same issues upgrading from 4.0.3 to 4.3.3. This thread solved my problem but I had to restart IIS once I had run the script to get it to work.

Has this issue been logged?
