Thanks for your reply, Will. Yes I am only using standard type, and nothing in the form of 3rd party providers other than DNN Events, Newfeeds, Repository and Gallery (if this is what you are referring to)

Just out of curiosity, I installed the latest upgrade to another app which had no folders other than the default folders of a new DNN install, and the admin File Manager works. Now begins the task of finding the culprit. Thanks for your time.

Hello,

it seems i got the same problem as you.
On un upgraded dnn, the filemanager into the new website created after the migration works well but the migrated crash the app pool.

Hey guys,

Have the exact same issue when just upgraded to 6.2.1.253, (503 error and the app pool crashing), when trying to access the admin -> file manager. Host -> file manager is ok, as is using any of the media managers via the editor.

Need help quick, it's the only admin function the client uses.

Thanks,
ben

PS - these forums have saved my butt too many times to count!

Larry, Jean and Ben;

Are any or all of you on hosted sites? If so what is the control panel the hoster is using? Plesk or a different control panel?

We extensively test upgrades including in a web farm scenario and you 3 are the first to report this behavior.
