Sacha,

hope you had a nice holyday. Thanks for this answer, it sounds like this is what I (and maybe also Fabio) was looking for. I will try and go back to you.

Best wishes

First of all I have created the module in the default language and I have pressed ready for translate

Fabio,

Now you have to uncheck the first checkbox in the en-US column (there is a "detached" tooltip on thecheckbox).

This will un-detache (or attach) to the default languague content.

(the vocabulary is very bad i think, but i have try to use the same then witch is used in dnn)

In other words, the content of the module is shared (if you modify in one language, it change in the other language).
Only the content, not the settings !

I can see that you have also problems with the footer module, maybe because some modultes are checked on "all pages".
This bug is corrected in dnn 6.2. Try "Correct errors" to correct this.

Sacha! It work!
You are my god!

I dont understand well what you mean about deattach from the language and how If I de attach I create a module like when i add an existing module but in other language

In particular i don't understand why the first step is copy the module and the second step de attach it

But it work! and it work well!
thanks a lot!!!!!!

Hi Fabio,

I have try to use the same terms that are used by dnn UI.

"Detached" is the term used by dnn to say that the module is not sharing the content with the module in the default language. It mean that the module content can be localized (translated). This is the default behaviour you obtain when you click on "Ready to translate" or when you check "copy module" (on my CLTools module).

"Copy module" = create a new module, the same then in default language, copy the content from default language and now you are ready to translate the content.

If you want to share the content, you have in a second step to uncheck "detached".

It is just about terms and the workflow dnn create for CL that is very different then wath we know for adding modules (new or existing) to a page.

In the current situation of dnn, to respect the integrity of dnn CL, you should not use "add existing module" on a language different then the default language.
