I also had this issue but I figured it out. If you have multiple sites on same host their cookies will conflict. If you do a clear browser cache the problem goes away. Of course, if you get back to the other site the issue is back. This might also happen on upgrades I believe.

Just to let you know that POWER DNN found the issue and managed to solve the problem (as a remember, the problem is still present with DNN 7 latest public patch).

Change: 'runtAllManagedModuleForAllRequests' from false to true

And it works !!!!

The solution to change to 'runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests' is specified back on page 9 in the thread.
