I've been stumped trying to upgrade to version 7.1 from 7.00.06.  Every time I try to run the upgrade process after copying the upgrade files to my site, I get the following error:

Compilation Error 

Description:  An error occurred during the compilation of a resource required to service this request.  Please review the following specific error details and modify your source code appropriately

Compiler Error Message:  BC30561: 'Entities' is ambiguous, imported from the namespaces or types 'DotNetNuke.Services.Search, DotNetNuke'.

Source Error:

Line 40: ...______________________________________________

Line 41: Public Class trombinoscopeController

Line 42: Implements Entities.Modules.ISearchable

Line 43: Implements Entities.Modules.IPortable

Line 44:

 

Anybody have any thoughts on how to correct this?  I have really no experience with vb, so if someone could walk me through a fix, I would really appreciate it.  Thanks in advance for any help!

this is strange, did you make sure to unblock the DNN upgrade package prior to unzipping it?

 Unblock?  I followed the same upgrade procedure I have done in the past and have never had an issue prior to 7.1  I'm not sure what you mean by unblock the DNN upgrade
