after downloading the package, right click and select "File Properties". If on bottom of the first tab there is a message about the file being downloaded from the internet and potential dangerous, click "unblock" to the right of it, before unzipping the files contained.

It seems due to Trombinoscope Module.
I would try to uninstall it on restored 7.0.6 before update and retry.

I've been stumped trying to upgrade to version 7.1 from 7.00.06.  Every time I try to run the upgrade process after copying the upgrade files to my site, I get the following error:

Compilation Error

Description:  An error occurred during the compilation of a resource required to service this request.  Please review the following specific error details and modify your source code appropriately

Compiler Error Message:  BC30561: 'Entities' is ambiguous, imported from the namespaces or types 'DotNetNuke.Services.Search, DotNetNuke'.

Line 40: ...______________________________________________

Line 41: Public Class trombinoscopeController

Line 42: Implements Entities.Modules.ISearchable

Anybody have any thoughts on how to correct this?  I have really no experience with vb, so if someone could walk me through a fix, I would really appreciate it.  Thanks in advance for any help!

Line 41 of the initial post (if you have the same error) is about trombinoscopeController who comes from a module named trombinoscope (available on codeplex) which don't work on latest versions of dnn.

Michel, if you have not exactly the same error, open a new discution with your detailed error message
