hi all,

i've set up a portal on my DNN installation, and through the host account, i've set it (the portal) to enable sitelogging, however when i log in as admin and go to my site log it tells me that "the host has allowed 365 days of logging", but when i search for different types of log, nothing appears

nothing is being stored in the Sitelog table either, this is quite important as i'm trying to find out which people are visiting which areas of my site.

have i missed something incredibly simple? or is it something else?

help i guess :D

You just mentioned Host level but there are also site level settings that you may want to check.

Admin - Site Settings - Advanced Settings - Host Settings.

both admin->site settings and host-> portal setting say that the portal in question has '365 days of logging'.

just nothing is being added to the sitelog table.

Probably someone more qualified than me to answer, but doesn't seem like they are responding...so, I can't tell you why, but mine works fine and I think they are the defaults.  Host is 0 and the Site is set to -1.
