I was having the same issue.  I logged in as Host and under the host tab go to Host settings.  In the advanced section set your Site Log Buffer (Items) to 1 and it is now working for me.  I also have the site log History (days) set to 0.  Hope this  helps.

Does anyone know definitively if a setting of -1 means unlimited?

thanks for the replies. i'll give this idea a try now.

Currently i have set:

Host -> Host settings -> Advanced -> Other Settings ::
Site Log Storage : Database (this is a personal MSSQL database to which i have full access rights)
Site Log Buffer : 5000 (is this the number of items to store before being written to the database i wonder...)
Site Log History : 365

Admin -> Site Settings -> Advanced -> Host Settings ::
Site Log History : 365

if anybody has any other suggestions please carry on helping me

yeah!, the problem was with the site log buffer :hitheadagainstbrickwallsmiley:

set it to 1 and now its working fine.

now...

would it be better to set it to maybe 10 or so as to not impede on database performance. writing once to the database every 10 events instead of every event.
