OK, still a newbie to DNN, but finally got it installed and running, trying to modify the default website (Awesome Cycles) for what I want to do.

I modified the Home page to my liking, then re-using the About Us page for the Active Forums module. Cleared out the About Us default content and loaded the Active Forums module, setup some forum groups. Now I go back to the home page and it is seen as the About Us page?

When I go to the top of the either page (Home or About Us), hover over the Edit function, open up Page Settings, the name of both the Home Page and About Us page are both About Us?

Why? Did I set something the same on both pages? I am learning DNN (the HARD WAY!) and not sure how to correct this?

please go to pages in Admin menu, the tree on the left will display the structure of pages and on the right you will be able to get the list of module on the currently selected page in the tree. This should help you to understand, what is going on. Are you on a single language or using multiple languages?

Hi Sebastian,

I opened the Admin/Page Management and see the website page tree on the left with a legend below it, but nothing on the right side as you indicated?

Also, single language installed.

This morning I created a new page, named it "Main" and setup some basic content info. Enabled it to be seen on the website menu on the top of each page. When I select "Main" from the top menu, it goes to "About-Us" page, which is where I am having the issue, seems like even from the Admin/Page Management function, the Home, About-Us, and Main pages are all seen as the same (About-Us), not only from the Menu?

Bruce,
in Admin > Pages, you should get displayed details and content of the page selected in the tree on the left.
It sounds like a misconfiguration of the home page of your system. please make sure, it is part of the top level of your website and configured to be the home page in Admin > SiteSettings, 2st section of 2nd tab.

 Hi Sebastian,

OK, can see the page content of each page. I checked website in Admin -Site Settings, 2nd tab, 2nd section and Home is the Home page.

Bit sure what you mean or how to check to make sure the Home Page is "part of the top level of website"? How do I check this?

Also, when I click on the Home Page on the Menu Bar, the "Getting Started" page now shows?

Bruce
