Thank you everyone for the suggestions.

I tried creating a new skin from scratch using the examples on the getbootstrap website, and there's the off-canvas example; http://getbootstrap.com/examples/offc...

When I try and edit the code and it get it working with the DNN skin, the collapse does not work.

I used a copy of the Gravity skin, copied over the latest v3.2.0 scripts, wiped out the Home.aspx skin (kept the basics) and copied over this source code and edited accordingly. Instead of the right-side collapsing as the online example does, it moved the right-side links to the bottom, but the NAV button appears.

Any ideas why?

Thanks..

It can help to use chrome (do the "Inspect Element" thing) to see what javascript errors are happening and then that will likely tell you.

As a quick guess, you might have not referenced jQuery - for the bootstrap js to work, you need to have jquery.
