Hey gang. I know this sounds a little forward but I have been struggling installing DNN 4.3.1 I believe and the new 4.3.2

One person commented its because of slow machines. I am on an Athlon 64 3ghz so I don't think it can be labelled as slow. I also think as the modules count are now getting larger and larger that come with the core this is just simply gonna get worse.

If I understand correctly, its because its timing out on the page request is this correct? Is there any chance the install process could be multiple page requests? Perhaps when its doing each module it could refresh to a new page or something like this?

This is going to become a real issue from now on I believe. In my experience install troubles can turn many people off on a product and not everyone chimes in on forums.

I would really like to see this resolved as it is severely hindering me installing this. I'm not a DNN expert so I don't know enough to hack and get it going manually. I am just stuck knowing I cannot install this thing and try it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. All I know is I've been trying to get this going for almost a month with no luck!

you can remove modules from the install directory to speed up installation and istall them lateron separately - I recommend Store and Forums, as they are the biggest.
