Hi,

How can I call some "clean up Code" after Delete is pressed. e.g. in the Settings Menue or in the Menue direct.

When a module is deleted I have to delete something out of my table too, but this is not performed automaticly.

I think I have to override a methode but which and where?

How about using the Recycle Bin?  Any module/page marked as isDeleted should be permanently removed when you delete it from the Recycle Bin.

I have the same questions.  Should there be an IDelete interface in DNN?  You can remove it from the recycling bin, but that won't delete the unused records from my data tables.

Is it something that just isn't supported yet?

Thanks,
Mike

in your database script, you can create a cascading deletion, so your records get deleted, when the module is dropped.

Hi Sebastian,

Are you referencing when a module is deleted from module definitions?  I think we are talking about when a module is deleted from a page, and then deleted from the recycling bin.  If you are referencing the problem we are talking about, please explain further.

Thanks,
Mike
