Hi Locopon,

I would be happy to send you the source if it helps debugging - let me know if you need it...

Just as a follow-up to this - I got the FCK editor to work just fine in my module - however, I did NOT resort to using the DNN provided wrapper - I downloaded the actual editor, and referenced it directly in my custom module - and between postbacks - the text data does remain in the editor.  This does lead me to believe that the content is being lost somewhere within the FCK editor DNN provider framework between postbacks.

Hi FCK Team,

Can we have an update on this issue please? I have read that the FCK editor will replace the FTB editor as the default in DNN from version 4.45 - this is a breaking change and will render some sites useless if they use any module that uses the panel control (I THINK this is where the problem lies).

Rodney,

I think you're right. I also think it has got something todo with the FCKeditor.

If you do a preview in the core forum module and return to the editing screen all the content entered is disappeared. I also have seen this on Chris's Beta Forum site where i posted this as a potential bug. But i was able to reproduce this kind of behaviour on my local machine aswell. This is not happening when i set the Ftb3HtmlEditor as my default html provider.

So i share your concern about this matter. In my opninion this should be taken care of before implementing FCK as default html provider in the upcomming release.

Regards,

Marc
