Successfully installed DNN4.4.1 with all modules.  Attempted to install ByDesign's Advanced Email Manager; installed BDPDT module without error.  Up to this point the File Manager operated properly.  I then installed Core Module without error.  However, the following message appeared when selecting the Admin and Host File Manager:

Error: File Manager is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: C:\DNN437Install\Admin\Files\FileManager.ascx.vb(324): error BC30456: 'Key' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.TreeNode'. ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException: C:\DNN437Install\Admin\Files\FileManager.ascx.vb(324): error BC30456: 'Key' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.TreeNode'. at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I've notified ByDesign Support for assistance.  In the meantime does anyone have experience with ByDesign's Advanced Email Module (Suite edition) who might shed some additional light on a solution?

Regards,

Jack

there are some navigation and provider dll files missing in DNN 4.4.1 package, this may have caused your issue. I suggest to copy DotNetNuke.TreeNavigationProvider.dll  from a 4.3.7 upgrade package.

Sebastian
Do you know if someone is going to update the package available to include the missing dll files?  This would seem the easiest thing to do?

it does look like the release manager schedules this for next DNN version, because it is always a support issue for the team, if there are release packages for the same version with different content.

I very much appreciate your attention to this matter and for your great response.  Unfortunately, I copied the file, DotNetNuke.DNNTreeNavigationProvider.dll, as you suggested.  The problem remains.  I am baffled as to why the Advanced Email Manager Core module appears to be the cause.  The File Manager works properly up until I install the Core module.  The other cause for consern, of course, is related to the missing elements from 4.4.1.  This is the first I have known of this issue.  How can we be notified to prevent us from installing a version that might be unstable?  Anyway, if you have other ideas regarding my email issue, I would appreciate your response.  In the meantime, I am awaiting a reply from ByDesign.
