I am new the Dotnetnuke modules, and I am trying to upgrade DNN 3.2 to DNN 4.4.1 I am currently trying to install it on a local machine like the direction on dotnetnuke.com website said to do but I am currently experiencing some problems.  I am unable to follow their directions its seems as though they have left out alot of instruction or they assume that everyone has been using their modueles.  Could you please send me some step by step simple instruction on how to accomplish my task of upgrading our current DNN 3.2 module to DNN 4.4.1.

Are you trying to upgrade the DotNetNuke Core to 4.4.1 from 3.2?  Or are you looking to modify a module that was wrtten for 3.2 to make it more like a 4.x module, ie using .NET 2.0?

If you are looking for an upgrade guide from 3.x to 4.x I am preparing one now and should have it on my blog by Saturday at the latest....mitchelsellers.com

I am looking to upgrade my DNN 3.2.0 to DNN 4.4.1.  I am under the impression that I would have to do a complete new install of the core.  How would I prevent from loosing my data that have stored in DNN 3.2.0?  After I successfully install DNN 4.4.1 on my local machine how to do move it to my server and overwrite the current core.
