For those who are interested, here are the differences between web.config 4.4.1 and 4.5.0

webconfig differences between 4.4.1 and 4.5.0

LINES ADDED:

<add key="UseInstallWizard" value="true"/>

<add name="ScriptModule" type="System.Web.Handlers.ScriptModule, System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35"/>

<!-- This adds syndication support -->
      <add verb="*" path="RSS.aspx" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Syndication.RssHandler, DotNetNuke"/>
      <!-- ASP.NET AJAX support -->
      <remove verb="*" path="*.asmx"/>
      <add verb="*" path="*.asmx" validate="false" type="System.Web.Script.Services.ScriptHandlerFactory, System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35"/>

      <add verb="GET,HEAD" path="ScriptResource.axd" type="System.Web.Handlers.ScriptResourceHandler, System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" validate="false"/>

<add assembly="System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35"/>

        <add tagPrefix="asp" namespace="System.Web.UI" assembly="System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35"/>
</controls>

I would like to know, I have seen these 3 lines deleted:

<!-- This is for FTB 3.0 support -->
      <add verb="GET" path="FtbWebResource.axd" type="FreeTextBoxControls.AssemblyResourceHandler, FreeTextBox" />

 <xhtmlConformance mode="Legacy" />

Could I also delete them ???

Assuming you aren't planning on using the FTB editor, you should be able to safely delete the last two elements.

Feel free to remove

xhtmlConformance mode="Legacy"

understand there will be issues with some existing code breaking. Also see;
