hi mitchel!

thanks for responding to my questions...i just want to clear things..i've noticed that everybody is talking about "New Website" menu when they want to create or start a website in VS2005...they are saying to click File->New Website..etc. But my VS2005 Premier Partner Edition doesnt have that "New WebSite" in the menu..Am I missing something??

Do you have vb.net installed as part of your VS installation? or did you only install C#? Did you accept the defaults when installing VS, or did you do a custom install? DotNetNuke is a vb.net web app.

hi steve!

thanks for responding! you are right, there is no vb.net installed, that's maybe the missing part...and im not sure about the installation because i wasn't the one who installed the VS, it was my boss who did it..maybe he did a custom installation.By the way, what's the difference between accepting the default during the installation and doing a custom install?

thanks again...
