hi all!

Im trying to install DotNetNuke 4.3.7 Starter Kit on my computer for my web developing but i got this error:

"Installation stopped because the directory for the ProjectType value did not exist. The project type is invalid for your installation of Visual Studio."

What "directory" does the installer mean?

Im using VS2005 and SQL Server 2005...

Any idea will help a lot.

DO you have SP1 installed?  I have noticed that that solves many installation issues.

What is SP1? I dont have any idea about it..and Im not very familiar with DotNetNuke either, Im only a newbie.

Do I need to change my installed VS2005? Because right now Im using VS2005 Premier Partner Edition. Does the error has something to d with the installed VS version?

You should try downloading Visual Studio 2005's service pack, available from Microsoft, that is most likely what Mitchel is referring to
