Hi dnn-fellows
I've to update a few website to the new stabilization release 04.04.05.
I'am waiting to do that when this release 04.04.05 comes out.
I wonder if it does matter if I update the different modules before updating the dnn core release? Normally not I think... But every release is checked I think with the release of the modules at that moment...

When updating a  module, always check compatibility with your DotNetNuke version, e.g. Text/HTML 4.5.0 requires DotNetNuke 4.5.0. Modules, that come with a DotNetNuke package are already tested to be compatible with this DotNetNuke version.

Hi Leupold

That's what I thought...
I'm glad that you've put in the module section an item that says if there are new versions of modules. You've discussed it and implemented it... Thanks.
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/107/threadid/61477/scope/posts/Default.aspx.
But is it also not possible to put also in that module section the minimum dnn version?... Or only display that there are new version if the core version of dnn is higher then the minimum required version of the dnn module...
When people (who are sleeping sometimes...) see that there is a new version of a module, download that version and install it... then they got errors...
I've done that (I was sleeping that's for sure...) with the html/text editor and then I've reinstalled an old version... (In the module section the old version got the new number...)

Gilbert,

we are well aware, that there is always room for improvement, thank you for your comment.

Please notie, that newer versions of DotNetNuke (4.5.0+) have a mechanismn implemented to check version compatibility specified in the module's manifest file.
