I upgraded from 3.3.7 to 4.5.5

During the upgrade i got two errors:

1st one in: 04.03.05
LastUpdated column couldn't be added to Folders table. I checked and the column was already there.

2nd error in 04.04.00
Error: HelpUrl

Everything else went fine. Also changed the webconfig with connection strings and machine/validation keys.

Now my site isn't accesible anymore. It only give the module load warning and nothing else. How am i able to login with admin so i can upload updated modules or remove modules? Or is there another way to check which module causes the problem?

Thx in advance.

Regards,
Codin

AFAIK you can ignore both issues. try to restart the application by saving web.config.

I found the problem. I used a guide from this adress:

http://www.mitchelsellers.com/Blogs/tabid/54/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/106/Upgrading-DNN-3x-to-DNN-4x.aspx

At one point it states that 2 files have to be manually removed:

  • DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.dll
  • DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.SqlDataProvider.dll

I put these 2 files back in the bin directory and the site is working fine now.
