Hi, I have followed the instructions of Michael Washington about installation on IIS (I have IIS 5.1 - XP SP2) -> www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/1060/Default.aspx. I have problem with issue that is not covered in this tutorial. When I first try to acces my DNN (http://localhost/dnn) I get the 401 error page. I gues it's something wrong with the permissions configuration. I have a physical directory C:/DotNetNuke where I store all files of my DNN - what permission and for what users I should give to this directory? Should I set this permissions for all subdirectories?? Next topic: for my virtual directory I have set annonymous access for XP-ORCAS\IUSR-XP-ORCAS (XP-ORCAS is a name of my computer), there is also a password set for this account but I never have set it (I don't know if I should reset password for this account - IS IT SAFE?? (my computer is a home machine - it is not a server or something like this)) - is it ok that it is set for IUSR?? Please help me with this topics beacuse I can't set up my own DNN.

It appears your permission issues have to do with IIS. Does your IIS work before you try to install DotNetNuke. I recommend you start there first. When this works then when you follow the directions at:

Setting-up the Environment (using IIS)

It will work. The directions cover all the DotNetNuke permissions needed.
