SLOW

I am noticing that my site seems to be very slow... are there some cache settings I can tweak to help the site run better?  I have removed excess modules but it still seems to run slow..

I dont really understand all the options of caching... it seems you can configure memory or disk... and then you can also configure module caching.. are there any docs that help me understand how I should configure this?

Hi TNK,

When you're dealing with performance, one of the biggest things you can do to make sure your site will run fast is to ensure you have a solid hosting provider.

Who do you host your site with?

That's why.  You have no idea how many people we have transfer over to us from them because of how slow they are (that, and they don't provide tech support for DNN).  They're really good at what they do which is provide dirt cheap hosting, however, if you're looking for good solid speed, especially for DotNetNuke, you should definately check us out. www.PowerDNN.com

I'd love to talk to you about what we do to speed sites up.  If you'd like to give me a call, my direct number is 402-650-6072

How hard would it be to transfer it over?  I JUST got the site running..

I see that you offer a few different levels... is there anything performance related between the three classes of service.
