I've been using .NET for quite awhile now, but just installed VS2005 Standard edition (gift at the Nov2005 rollout).

I then downloaded the DNN starter kit for 4.0.2

I opened up VS2005 and select File, New, Web Site...

The dialog box opens and I can see Visual Studio Installed Templates and under the My Templates all I see is Search Online Templates.

When I ran the start kit install the templates were put in:  ..\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual Web Developer

Is this ok, or is this my problem (VS2005 is not the Visual Web Developer)?
How would I fix or if it's not the problem, does anyone have a hint on what might allow me to see templates?

In advance:  For your help, I thank you, my back thanks you, my neck thanks you....(I've been at this for awhile)

By chance, did you resolve this? I cannot figure out how to use/find the site wizard to edit which site template to use. It was easy in v 4.3.5 but don't see it in 4.4.1. I did log in as host but can't find anything anywhere.
