I have DNN 4.02 installed on my home machine and whenever I go to http://localhost/Infotek/AboutUs/tabid/53/Default.aspx I can see the page fine... However, when I go to my friends computer and try to access my machine using my domain name (i.e. http://mycomputersipaddress/Infotek/AboutUs/tabid/53/Default.aspx it keeps trying to access my friends localhost site?

Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks

Calvin

you need to add the other site as a portal alias. Log in to your localhost instance as the host user, and go to site settings. Scroll to the bottom and you can add your IP address as an alternative portal alias.
