Hi

DNN starter kit is working locally with SQL Express and VWDE

But on upload/FTP to an IIS/SQL Express environment I get the error:-

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.  This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

Any help much appreciated.

Did you switch your remote directory in IIS to use .Net 2.0?

Yes, but did you make sure that the Virtual Directory or Site for this particular DNN instance is using .Net 2.0?
