So, I have dnn 3.2.2 installed perfectly on my machine. It works great when working on it from that machine. Once I try to access it via the internet, I get a page cannot be displayed error when all the rest of the pages on the server can be displayed. Just the DNN directory will not open. Must be something in IIS but I have looked for settings to change and have found nothing.

Any ideas?

Are you using the same domain name to access the server both locally and via the internet? If not you need to add the internet one via the Host/Portals menu.

Hope this helps
Roger

Hi Roger

I have a problem that seems the same, my next problem is what do you mean by "Host/Portals menu"? Is it in the DNN site?

Thanks
Jason

In order to add a domain name to a portal you need to be able to log on as the 'Host' user, when you will get a Host menu beside the Admin one. If you don't have access to the Host account, you will need to speak to your portal provider to get the domain added.

Within the Host menu, there is a Portals item, from within which you can edit the Portal Aliases. This is also available within the Admin/Site Settings at the bottom when you logon as host.

Hope this clarifies it for you.

Roger
