Hi All,

Is it possible to create multiple copy of dnn cms by using same database copy.

My requirement is to provide content to multiple site in their brandname by using the same database(We are doing master update from a central place)

How can I do this? Please help me.

There are a few ways to do this. Simply copying the database and setting up a new site would work.

Why not just set up parent portals for them.  This way you keep control over the whole server config...so people aren't poking around in the settings they shouldn't be...but will allow them all to administer thier own "portal".  this is what DNN is designed to do.

Check out the "Host" menu(it's differnet than the "admin" menu).  Pull down to Portals and add one...partent or child..doesn't matter....you'll see how it creates a new portal, and if you log in with the admin name you create for that portal, you'lls ee they dont' get teh "host" settings, but they can still manage thier own users, thier own newsletters and modules and such.

You, at host level, then can decide what you want them to be able to do as for skins....Modules though will still require you to administer which is a good thing.

Good luck!
