Hi All,

Using the Install Package, I have all the prerequisits and have configured the folder permissions.

When I first run the protal I am getting an error" Theme 'Standard' cannot be found in the application or global theme directories.

This is a setting in the provided Web.Config file.

This throws an error and the installation is not completed.

I then get the error: The stored procedure 'dbo.GetPortalAliasByPortalID' doesn't exist.

I have deleted the DB and started form scratch several time, but still get the same errors.

I have been going around in circles on this one. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards, Rod

This ended up being caused by IIS reading the default web site config file.

I have used a new site for this to get around the problem, however I would like to know what can be done to correct

I have never seen Theme Standard in any DotNetNuke version.  I just checked the release.config and there is nothing there either.

As far as GetPortalAliasByPortalId that usually means you are using an old .config file with a new (empty) database.  The application thinks it has been installed, but there is nothing in the database. This is usally caused by deleting the database but not the installed DNN setup.

Your best bet is to delete your database and DNN files, and reinstall them from scratch.  Then copy release.config to web.config and edit the sql setting(s) and objectQualifier as required.

Then you can startup the web site and let DNN do it's normal thing.

I hope this is of some help to you.
