I replicated our production DNN into my local machine. I am able to see our website contents when accessed as http://localhost/dev but when I try to login as admin or as host I get the following error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". Can somebody tell me what I am missing. Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

rt

Hi,

I dont know if your familiar with coding at all, but honestly, that is probably one of the hardest to track and more generic errors. If you have any more error info from the site, or any other information it would help a ton. If not, try reinstalling DNN to your local machine to see if that helps.

Jake,

I appreciate your quick response but luckily this problem got resolved when I opened the website locally from firefox. I am not sure as to what exactly the problem was but am assuming that it was browser specific.
