I have 3 machines.  My Production machine is running Server 2003.  My 2 other machines run Vista.  Do you recommend I install Source Package on my Production machine (Server 2003) and the Install Package on my Vista Machines or the opposite?  I want to install Source because I want to eventually build my own modules, etc.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Thanks -

You definitely don't need to use the Source package on your production machine.  In fact, you don't need to use the Source package in order to build modules.  We strongly recommend against modifying the DNN source for most any reason, so the only reason to have the Source package is for reference and debugging.  Given that, I usually install the source package on my development machine for those reasons.

Hope that helps,
