When we try to load balance our two web servers (virtual) we currently get a configuration error. The web servers sit in our DMZ, but are not part of a domain.

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file that's required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Request for the permission of type System.Web.AspnetHeadingPermission, System, Version2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken='' failed

Source Error: (Highlights the following line in the <httpModules> section of the web.config)

      <add name="Compression" type="DotNetNuke.HttpModules.Compression.CompressionModule, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" />

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

-Brian

Thanks for the response Jerry. To answer your question... Yes, the machine keys match in the web.config files.

We also want to look at using a shared drive to host the files.

On the web serving front ends...

  1. Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration
  2. Right-Click on "All_Code" under .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration > My Computer > Runtime Security Policy > Machine > Code Groups
  3. Select "New..."
  4. Give the new group a name
  5. Click "Next"
  6. In the DDL Select "URL"
  7. In the URL textbox enter a path to your shared folder ie. file:////\\SERVER\SHARED_FOLDER\*
  8. Click "Next"
  9. Ensure "Full Trust" is selected
  10. Click "Next"
  11. Click "Finish"
  12. Restart IIS
  13. Let me know if your problems continue.

Additional...  With the risk of confusing you further, You may notice, after step 11, that the name of your new code group, that you specified in step 4, is preceded by the words "copy of".  Just ignore or rename this.
