Hello

im having some trouble moving my site to a new server.

i was using "MS SQL Server Express" and on the new server i am using "MS SQL Server 2008".

I have made an backup on the database and "Restored" it to the new database.

Copied all the files in the webrott to the new one.

changed the ip adres in the Alias to the new ip adress.

And when i try to go to the site i get this error.

[NullReferenceException: Objektreferensen har inte angetts till en instans av ett objekt.]
   DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalSettings.GetPortalSettings(Int32 TabId, PortalAliasInfo objPortalAliasInfo) +101
   DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalSettings..ctor(Int32 tabId, PortalAliasInfo objPortalAliasInfo) +77
   DotNetNuke.HttpModules.UrlRewriteModule.OnBeginRequest(Object s, EventArgs e) +2112
   System.Web.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() +68
   System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) +75

what to do?

I am having same problem.

Did you get the answer of this. In my case, it works fine when I install at my localhost.

But, it is not working alright when I host it into shared environment.

Thanks in advance.
