I'm new to DNN and having a rather difficult time finding documentation on how to install DNN with IIS7 (Vista home premium) and SQL Express 2005.   Would someone kindly point me in the right direction on how to install DNN (but not with WinXP, IIS6 and the full version of SQL Server 2005)?

Thanks,

Ian

http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/ describes several ways to install and configure DNN.    The DNN install forum contains a posting that suggested using the install without IIS.   I have VS2005 Pro and so I tried this.  Bingo, it appears to be working.   I've spent 3 days trying to install with IIS7 and was getting quite frustrated.   As a suggestion to users with Visual Studio, using the install without IIS works as documented might be a better way for new DNN users to start off.

Cheers,

Ian
