OK, I've been to a ton of forums, blogs, and personal site and I can't find anything either current or complete as to how to install DNN on a remote host.  I got so lost on 1and1 I went out and got another host account on webhost4life and tried it there.  Nothing.  I'm not a back end type guy.  I am however a front end DNN user.  I'm really trying to learn but all of the material is outdated.  I can't afford a server, software, and a T1 line into my house so remote hosting is the way to go for me.  Can anyone help and provide complete, accurate, and up to date information for the DNN instillation on either of these hosts?  (I think it would benefit the whole community if instillation was easier as there would be more people who would use and provide ideas/ input into the community as a result).  Anyway, if someone can provide complete, accurate, and up to date screen shots or a screen video for the public I'd be willing to paypal or send a money order of $50 US for their time.  Since I've seen the 8 min DNN upload and launch video I'm sure it shouldn't take anyone too long. The reward goes to the first person to link to the video in a reply to this post.  Again, it must be complete, accurate, and up to date with either 1and1 or webhost4life.  I'll even give $50 for each so if you know people who have accounts on both you could earn $100!  I'm not trying to be greedy and just ask for personal help, I'd like the video to be for everyone please.  I would suggest YouTube or something similar.   If your video isn't complete (from start to end) you will not qualify.  Just pretedn that you just got the account and have dome nothing like create and change permission on your folders, db, or anything of the sort.  Not even a domain name!  This way every new user can watch and learn.  Thanks for reading and if you give it a try, double thanks!

This guide is complete, accurate, and up to date.  But not a video.... so keep your $50 ;)

btw, use DNN 4.9.1.  There are too many problems with 5.0 right now.

Great.  Thanks.  I'll try this set of instructions this weekend.    However, this isn't specific instructions.  More of the vague general instruction stuff.  So, the offer still stands.

I found this note on an older DNN forum topic on the Webhost4life website. It appears that, like GoDaddy, they have an auto installer for DNN built right into their cpanel. Here's the quoted comment, "Webhost4life actually have a auto installer for DNN. It's extremely easy to use.  You can do so in control panel->site admin->asp.net Plugin section."

So, log in and check it out. Might be just what you're looking for -- answer a few questions and let Webhost4life take care of the DNN installation for you ;-)

Thanks Jim.  I'll give that a try and post my results.
