Hi all.  I just recently downloaded VS 2008 Express with Visual Web Developer.  I am flying by the seat of my pants and trying to understand how to develop my own website.  As such, I followed the links to this site and downloaded the DotNetNuke Starter Kit.  I am not really sure where I should save the files to.  Typically I save projects to my Projects folder in my VS 2008 folder.  Is that the same for this Starter Kit?  How do I access the starter kit after its downloaded?

Thanks

RK

Don't.  Just set that file aside and go back and download the Install version, as well as the documentation.  Install from the Install version, the starter kit is really not much use unless you need to edit the code directly.  You're not ready to do that.

Ok this worked fine until I got to page 3.  The instructions do not seem to follow the layout of the screen.  I am wondering if this is because we are in 5.0 and the documentatin is in 4.3.1.

When you get to "Register the module in DotNetNuke" I had a hard time following things.  I never did find the MODULE drop-down.  It there revised documentation for this?

Thanks

EM
