I'm running this site in Production at a remote location in a hosting enviroment. As I have done before several times, I've backed up everything to do upgrades, specifically this time to version 04.09. Completed the upgrade with no issues. It ran fine for several days, but soon after, I started to experience not being able to logout or open users, make any changes to the site or even look at any sub folders within the site. This site is running a SQL Server back-end, I thought it sounds like it could be a db problem, contacted the dba's , but they have no log reports of errors. The site is viewable so the IIS should be OK, but I'm unable to change anything with the site. Its completely static.

In panic, I then used my backups to restore the site onto my local servers and got a DotNetNuke Error - Version 04 Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed. When I hit the return to site....I get nothing, same error over and over!

Need help desperately, please advise!

Darryl

Check you machine keys.
Restart IIS.
Google "Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed."

Hope this helps.
