Hi,

I just want to ask as to from which version of DNN can i start using the manifest with the following format...

<dotnetnuke type="Package" version="4.0">
    <packages>

        <components>
                <component>

                </component>

       <component>

   </packages>

Is there such a thing as version="4.0" attribute?

from the download page of dotnetnuke site, I've downloaded Active Directory Provider 01.00.05Install with a minimum DNN version requirement of version 4.06.02. But when I installed it, its not installing and throwing this error

Failure ExceptionSystem.Exception: Dnn load failed, aborting at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaDnnLoaderFactory.GetDnnAdapter() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

When I debugged the source code of 4.06.02, its version is not known. there is no such option for the attibute version="4.0" and type="Package" in the dotnetnuke root node.

Please confirm any of this assestment/observation.

Thank you,

Reynen

The version 4.0 can be used in two places.

DNN 4.7.0 and later under "Host" - > "Authentication" to install authentication providers

DNN 5.0 and later for modules, skins, containers, providers, and more.
