Hello I am an intense newbie on installing DNN and using SQL, so having trouble install DNN (Source) is not a huge surprise to me. I feel I have gone through the Install guide correctly, but am obviously missing something. 

I have created a database, I have created a virtual directory (w/ Network service having access), but when I go to the website for the VirtDir it shows up 403 Forbidden. Does this mean I have gotten something wrong in the SQL connection (web.config) or have I gotten something wrong in the opening of the webpage?

Thanks to anyone that can plop my uniformed self back on the road of DNN.   

I have changed the permissions to "Everyone" to test if it was a permissions issue and it still didn't work.

I have just completed the process of installing IIS (V5.1), SQL Server Express 5, SQL Server Manager Express, and DNN V4.9.2 without any errors on my XP Pro laptop. I am now getting Error 403 when I attempt to run the DNN application via http://localhost/dotnetnuke492/default.aspx. I did update the web.config file to point to my server, dnn database, user and password. I have tried to find where to "change permissions to "Everyone", but since I am new to IIS, I cannot find where to check this. Please help, and thanks in advance.
