WebHost4Life tell me that a DNN site will be slow the 1st time you load it each day because "Dnn site compiles the s_c_r_i_p_t everytime it's loaded. So, the first time will always be slower then usual. Johnny (staff)

My understanding is that only if changes occur in bin or web.config is recompile done.

Can anyone confirm when recompile happens?

I have semi shared and am not happy with load speed 1st time & in general at www.247eQutoes.com

You are correct that the application will recycle any time a file in the bin folder, or web.config is touched, but it's also possible to trigger it a number of other ways such as by unloading the application in IIS. Many ISP's have schedules application recycles e.g. every 30/60 minutes, as it allows them to pack more sites onto a server.
