Neither do I but I have done two similar upgrades of sitesthe  first one worked well. The second I upgraded 6 or 7 times changing small parts to see what caused the error the last differense I saw was FTB but I didnt tested that part. I have to look at the code to figure it out someday.

Anyhow there are something that dont work as expected in the upgrade code.

As I read the code there should have been a eventlog telling that 3.5 was iinstalled or not but no such post exist.

I cant find anything else, that should have been done in the upgrade process, missing.
