move of a couple of modules is intended, if DNN is still looking for old locations, the .dll files might not been updated properly, please make sure to replace all dotnetnuke files inside the /bin folder.
The DB error is the famous one with the new primary key for EventTable and that we have fixed manually. I am personally more interested in the otther problem, the one with "executing" but dont know wherer to find logs of that? That could just as well be part of the problem.
About the DLL files, I dont really get it, we are talking user controls here, and mostly, user controls calls DLLs, not the other way around? I mean, how can the fact that DNN tries to find a .ascx file in the wrong location be related to faulty binaries? Not that I would mind that it was the cause of the problem though, because then we would have a fix for it.
But, seriously, I know this is open source an everything, but shouldn't the installation process be much smoother than this? Looking in this forum, we seem to be far from the only ones having serious problems with installing DNN5. Again, we apprechiate the hard work you guys in the Core Team are doing, it's not about that!
BTW, how many years do you have to be a member of this forum until you can post unmoderated? Usually that is just for new guys, but I must have been here for at least 5 years now, probably more :)
