 I am getting the following error running install MyDomainName/Install/InstallWizard.aspx:

"Installing Database - Version 05.00.00...FAILURE 400 - The stored procedure 'dbLostTreasureUSA.UpdateDatabaseVersionAndName' doesn't exist."

I am leving Run as db Owner: un Checked
Object Qualifier: is blank
 
It passes & has msg "Connection Success"
I can open the DB in SQL Mgr

 please make sure to run as db owner.

Please restart with a fresh database now.

I have been having the same problem.
I tried installing with database "dotnetnuke" but it failed as the database does not exist.

I then tried with the "master" database name at which point I come up with
Installing Database - Version 05.00.00...FAILURE 400 - The stored procedure 'dbo.UpdateDatabaseVersionAndName' doesn't exist

How do I create a fresh database? I am only using SQL Server 2008 express.

As Sebastian says try running with db owner checked.

Is there some reason why you are NOT using db owner?

Hello, I'm having similar problem. When I try to install DNN 5.02.01, I receive an error message when installation wizard starts running its scripts. The error message is following:

Installing Database - Version 05.00.00...FAILURE 400 - The stored procedure 'vladimir.UpdateDatabaseVersionAndName' doesn't exist.

Error message looks pretty strange, because "vladimir" is a username that DB server gets accessed by. Name of the DB is different. Connection and permissions tests are passed successfully in the  wizard.  User is in dbowner and public roles for the DB. The problem doesn't occur when I try to install 4.x.x version of DNN, only with fifth version.
