Hi,

i have stand alone pc with Visat OS and visual studio 208\08. now i want to install DNN. i try at my lavel best bu t ai can't install proper so can you just guide. and also which version is suitable for vs 2008 and vista. Please provide me link where i got free download version of DNN.

Second thing how we create web application with DNN using visual studio 2008.

i am waiting for your positive reply.

Please bare in mind you don't need Visual Studio 2008 unless you want to hack away at the insides. If this is the first time you using DNN using Visual Studio is not recommended unless you love hacking codes to pieces. All you need is IIS and SQL Server (Express or other version). SQL Server 2005 recommended (although you can use 2008). You'll probably want to use 5.1 if you are starting from scratch. DNN has it's own UI for manipulating content.

I suggest to use DNN 4.9.4 source (if you want t o look into the core framework code) or install and follow the general installation instructions (no VS required).

use Starterkit to install VS 2008 templates for skins and module development.

Very very Thankfull for great help to resolve my problem.

I check Michal Washington's Url which youprovide me in your message. and i install completely DNN on my system.

now can you just tell me if i want to create one Test module. how i create test module.

1) I create one web application in vs2008 in c#.net language. now i want to add that application in DNN so how is possible.
