 I am alson unable to save on the Site Settings Page.  I tried to assign the default language, but there aren't any options in the dropdown.  please advise

if there is no language in the dropdown list of language module (I experienced the same yesterday on my first look at DNN 5.1.2), you may use Add language and add "English (United States)" with no fall back language. make sure to enable the language and now you should be able to save site settings as well.

If I click on Host and Languages I get this:

I have the same problem after upgrading from 4.09.00. It seems, after analysing the database that records are missing from the table Folders. I've just inserted a record for portalid = 0 , Folderpath="", storagelocation 0, Isprotected = True, Iscached=False and the other records equal to NULL.

After that, the module did load and I could start recusrively resyn the folder structure. That also inserted the necessary additional records in the table. Hop this helps...
