I have recently installed DNN 5.1.1 as a clean install on a server running Windows Standard 2003 & SQL Server 2008. The install seems fine and works well on the new server although I have noticed that under the host settings it has applied IUSR_NEW-STD2003 to the ASP.NET Identity: instead of Network\Service as default. Both user identities exist within the IIS and I have completed the rest of the configuration, I am know continuing to develop the final application.

Does anyone have any answers to these questions:

1. Is this an important issue; i.e will it cause me longer term problems?

2. Do I need to change this and if so how can I do this without disrupting the current configuration?

What you see under host settings, is just a display of the user currently running the asp.net process DNN is running in. It's not configured in a way that DNN will only run under that user. So, afaik, no issue for the future
