After the upgrade to DNN 5.1.1. some of my admins don't see the following options

Add New User

Delete Unauthorized Users

Manage Profile Properties

User Settings

They also can't edit profiles.

When I created a new admin profile after the upgrade, that profile did not have a problem.

All my admin profiles have the same role assigned to them and those roles are active.

Any suggestions? Thank you very much!

Yulia

Have you add the maschine keys from the old web.config to the new one?  If not you have to restore the database and files, and rerun to upgrade.

Yes. I added my "old" machine key to the web.config file before running the upgrade.

I did not check my ALL admin accounts, but at least one of them has these options available to it. It was created BEFORE the upgrade. However the majority of them don't.

Could it be the user isn't in the page edit mode ? Check left on the top of DNN.

DOH!

Thank you Matthias! It fixed my problem. I compared it with DNN 4.9.4. and in 4.9.4. these admin options are available regardless of the mode you are in.

I guess it's a new feature of 5.1.1.

Thank you for your time!

Yulia
