I'm just getting my portal setup as a subdirectory on my organizations public web site.  The install went fine but required a little detective work because I run a single server (MS Small Business Sever) environment so IIS and ASP.Net are running on a domain controller, which means no ASPNet worker account.  This cause some issues at first which I've temporarilly bypassed by updating the processmodel section of machine.config to use the system account.  I'll address getting a weaker account in place later.

After that adjustment the portal installed fine and seems to run OK on every operation except when logging out.

For instance, if I'm on the Home page, the logout link points to the below URL

http://www.merrittsingers.org/members/Home/tabid/36/portalid/0/Logoff.aspx

But when I click it, I get a HTTP 403 Error (You are not authorized to view this page).

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Gary

I just accessed the site and didn't have any problems. You might want to make sure you have anonymous access setup in IIS. Outside of that, you could try changing the file owner on the DNN directory (to include all files/subdirectories). I have had this issue in the past, but not with DNN.
