Where is the content stored within DNN?  That is, regarding the pages I've created using the html editor, which folder are they stored in and what filename/extension would they have?  GoDaddy indicated that I need to uninstall and reinstall DNN.  Before doing so, I'd  like to save a couple pages I have written.  Within GoDaddy, DNN is broken down into dozens of folders such as:

admin, bin, components, config, controls, desktopmodules, documentation, images, install, js, portals, providers, resources, etc

and scores of subfolders.

content of modules is stored in the database, while files are stored in subfolders of /portals/[portalid]/

Thanks again for getting back to me.

So it looks like there is no simple way to get and transfer the content from my GoDaddy DNN site to my local disk.  I'd like to see a "backup" button in the admin panel added in some future upgrade -- and the concomitant "restore" button.  By allowing storage of a local copy, users can easily recover when the hosting service has a problem.

some hosting panels do support full backup of files and database, e.g. we are using DotNetPanel for our hosting clients and they are happy with this option where they can easily download the complete backup as a zip file.
