 I have installed DNN 5.1.4 and created an additional parent portal. But after login in to that portal as the administrator, some of the Text headings disappeared. 

I tried reinstalling 3 times but it didn’t fix. I am hosting My site at GoDaddy Deluxe web hosting plan. Initially I used the GoDaddy installation script to install 5.1.2 and with that installation after login in as the super user almost all the text heading disappeared. Then I uninstall and re-installed but no luck.
Then I downloaded the 5.1.4 and installed it manually.  And login to the host and everything was OK. Then I created another parent portal, and login to this new portal as portal administrator. Then the problem appeared again. Ie. Text names of control panel, logout text, Terms and Condition text from the front page, and lot more text headings are missing. 
Can someone please help me ?

please go to languages in admin menu and make sure, "English (United States)" is present - if not, please add it manually with no fallback language and enabled checked. Next go to Site settings and save it.

Hello Sebastian,

English language pack is present and looks like is it enabled (hard to tell because text labels are missing), however Text labels and subsequent Links are still missing in things like Module ActionMenu, Control Panel, FIle Manager

please check host settings, performance settings.  Make sure, view_state is set to page and compression is NOT used together with whitespace filter.

in Site settings, do you get English language listed in languages dropdown?
